Audio

I was a photojournalist and multimedia producer for USA TODAY's Pulitzer-prize winning investigation into the U.S.-Mexico border wall, "The Wall."

My team produced a 10-part podcast series to capture the personal stories of the journalists who spent months researching and

reporting the story of President Donald Trump's border wall.

"The Wall" was nominated for dozens of awards. A full-length documentary is now available on Amazon Prime.

At USA TODAY, we try to inform, inspire, and entertain our audiences in as many places as possible. Sometimes, this means our long-form video work can be repurposed for audio audiences, as seen here from the Coronavirus Chronicle series, and the Women of the Century network-wide multimedia project.

Working with audio editor Claire Thornton, I scripted and selected audio from interviews, and gave edits to help produce these audio pieces and enhance the breadth and depth of our coverage of these topics. Audio is often a golden opportunity to go further in depth, and revive some of the gems that end up on the video cutting-room floor.
